Terms of Use

Effective
September 24, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to MeloToon, including the MeloToon application, this website, and related features. Please read them before using the service.

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using MeloToon, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your location. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use MeloToon only with that permission.

If an account feature is available, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping access credentials confidential, and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

3. Using MeloToon

MeloToon provides tools for discovering, previewing, saving, and reading stories. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service for lawful, non-commercial purposes.

Features such as favorites, recent reading, recommendations, and reading progress may depend on the device, account state, connectivity, region, or current version of the service.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use MeloToon in violation of law or the rights of another person.
  • Copy, redistribute, publicly display, sell, or exploit service content except where expressly permitted.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with service operation, or gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Use automated means to scrape, index, or extract content without permission.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, abusive material, or content that infringes another party's rights.
  • Misrepresent your identity or use MeloToon to deceive, harass, or harm others.

5. Content and intellectual property

MeloToon and its interface, branding, software, artwork, text, and other materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Rights in individual stories and related creative works remain with their respective owners and licensors.

No ownership rights are transferred to you. You may not remove rights notices or use MeloToon names, logos, or materials in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

If you submit feedback, you permit us to use it to evaluate and improve MeloToon without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of personal information or content unrelated to the feedback.

6. Content and service availability

Titles, chapters, features, and recommendations may change, move, or become unavailable. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, licensing, or product development.

Links or integrations involving third-party services are provided for convenience. MeloToon does not control those services or their separate terms and practices.

7. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, MeloToon is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent availability of any title, or that the service will meet every individual expectation.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MeloToon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the service. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful in your jurisdiction and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using MeloToon at any time. Access may be limited or terminated where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, protect the service or its users, comply with law, or discontinue the service.

These terms may be updated as MeloToon changes or legal requirements develop. The effective date will be revised when updated terms are published. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

10. General terms and contact

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
